Episode Fifteen: Jakaro and the Tale of The Zealot Lord

Jakaro was snooping through dungeons, spying on people, and decided to say hello with some flair!  People are amazed by his grand appearance, and wonder how he procured such an amazing gift. Sensing an opportunity for some fun and profit, he concocts a story, and then it just seems to escalate from there...

Jakaro wonders how much this information is worth to people...

 With 40k now safely in his bank for doing absolutely nothing, Jakaro begins telling New Dude the story of where he can obtain such a legendary item.... of course, this story is completely made up. But New Dude doesn't know it!

 

(I missed the picture here, but I told him that I will tell him for ANOTHER 15k! He obliges)

Knowing this guy is hooked, Jakaro tries to get even more money out of him!

With 70k in his bank now, Jakaro and New Dude venture into the depths of the Ophidian Lair in order to find the legendary "Ophidian Zealot Lord".

 

Jakaro makes his grand exit. But the fun doesn't stop there!

And thus New Dude sets off on his great adventure to kill as many ophidians as possible and summon The Zealot Lord!

About 30 minutes or so later, Jakaro is bored and decides to check in on the progress of New Dude, and have some more fun.. so he incognitos himself and checks back in.  

 

Later on, Jakaro checks in a second time.

 

Apparently, New Dude isn't pleased that so many people know about this hidden location where The Zealot Lord spawns.

Jakaro decides to test his luck with a THIRD disguise.... but it takes him a while to gather up the necessary items, so he doesn't visit New Dude for about 45 more minutes.

Jakaro recalls back into the Ophidian Lair and find the entire place massacred. Ophidians lay dead everywhere. He finds New Dude standing amongst the corpses... and he seems to appear pretty frustrated.. probably because he has been killing Ophidians for about three hours and The Zealot Lord hasn't shown up yet.

 Jakaro tells New Dude that the Lord has spawned >>>>> that way, on the other end of the dungeon!

This is his time to shine! New Dude runs to fight The Zealot Lord!

But alas, he never made it.

Jakaro loots poor New Dude, and waits around until he returns to he can tell him that it was actually a joke, but New Dude never returns.

Jakaro revisits the Ophidian Lair a few days later and find this:

To this day, New Dude haunts the Ophidian Lair, waiting for the day to finally fight his elusive arch nemesis, The Zealot Lord.
